APX Service Centre was founded in 1999 by Shaun with a simple goal—to provide honest, reliable service to our local community. What began as a small family business has quickly become a trusted name among locals.

Over the years, we've had the privilege of seeing generations of families return to us for their vehicle needs—a testament to the trust we've built and the relationships we cherish.

In 2008, we expanded into motorsports, becoming the Queensland distributor for Yokohama and other top brands. Our motorsport division focuses on Australia-wide motorsport events, where we specialize in building, repairing and maintaining and motorsport vehicles for a range of applications.

 

Motorsports has always been close to Shaun's heart, having competed in rally championships since the early 80s. With his passion for racing, Shaun brought that energy into APX, supporting Queensland and Australian rally teams. Today, Shaun proudly serves as the Chair of the Queensland Rally Advisory Panel (QRAP) and President of the Northern Districts Sporting Car Club (NDSCC), working to grow the sport he loves.

We've kept evolving, in 2021 we launched our motorcycle servicing and suspension division, FFRC and APX Suspension in addition to performance and rally car services. Whether it's making coilovers, shock absorbers, or a quick tune-up, we strive to provide the same care and precision in everything we do.

For Shaun, this business is deeply personal. Motorsport isn’t just a job—it's a family affair. His sons now race alongside him, carrying on the legacy of passion and excellence.
